British singer and songwriter Lianne La Havas recently unveiled her single, “Tokyo” along with officially releasing her hotly anticipated sophomore album, Blood. Lianne’s style of smokey, warm and soulful jazz has been widely embraced both back home and abroad with Blood not appearing to have fallen victim to the dreaded, ‘sophomore album curse.’ Already being hailed as a triumph, the album title references to Lianne’s Jamaican and Greek ancestry, which has heavily influenced the 10-track project.
The album is available on iTunes, Amazon and on vinyl. Head to the website to grab your copy! In the meantime, drift away with Lianne to her newest single, “Tokyo” below.
