Fans and press clenched their phones in anticipation of Teyana Taylor‘s new mixtape, “The Cassette Tape 1994” on August 10th. To many fans dismay, G.O.O.D Music postponed the release of Tey’s project. She took to twitter to let fans know of the label interference. Teyana ended up releasing at 12 a.m. Fans took to Twitter and IG to congratulate her on such a wonderful piece of nostalgia. G.O.O.D’s first lady seems to have revived a 90s-esque R&B sound (which fans of music have been craving) with the five track EP. “1994 Cassette” is available on iTunes & Android. Listen below.
