The obsession that some have with sneakers is beyond real. With blogs dedicated to keeping people informed about the latest sneaker news and events like SneakerCon this is more than evident. Now people will get to learn more about sneaker head culture thanks to a new documentary entitled Sneakerheadz.
Directed by David T. Friendly, the documentary takes viewers into a sneaker head’s world by showcasing collections, interviewing sneaker heads like Carmelo Anthony, Mike Epps, and Rob Dyrdek, and showing what an adventure being a sneaker head could be. The documentary will premiere on August 7th in NYC at Village East Cinemas, and be in theaters nationally after the premiere.
Don’t feel like going to the theater? Not to worry. The documentary will be available on Vimeo on Demand come August 21. Until then, watch the trailer for Sneakerheadz below.
