During a beautiful night in Austin, Texas during SXSW this year, Raury sat on a curb on 6th Street, just chilling with friends. On the way to see The Black Opera, I approached Raury and told the new talent how wonderful and talented I thought he was. He was kind and sweet.
Well, his latest video for “Devil’s Whisper” is a continuum of my thoughts, and cleverly, it ends where “God’s Whisper” begins. Ironically, one half of The Black Opera shared this video with me last year, and now Raury is featured on the cover of XXL and making his rounds in the music world.
