New York DJ and producer Statik Selektah slows down the tempo for his latest effort “All You Need.” The mellow, languid track features witty bars from Action Bronson and Ab-Soul complemented by the sultry, cooing of Elle Varner–all the makings of a jazzy love song.
While Bronson professes his love for a Greek goddess, Soulo takes a cue from Jay-Z (“I was just f*cking them girls // I was gon’ get right back”) and drops a breakup bomb.
As we await Statik’s forthcoming album Lucky 7, due July 7, “All You Need” is surely a satisfying preview of what’s to come.
Vibe out to the track below.
