In the name of shameless promotion and perhaps, bearing it all to please fans, well-known musicians (See: Tyrese) have taken to the New York City public transportation hubs to showcase their many talents (See: Tyrese crip-walking on platform). In any event, Brandy — R&B singer and Ray J’s sister — recently was on the 1 train, to which she decided to cover a Whitney Houston number “Home” and no one recognized her or cared, according to the Gothamist. The R&B starlet is donned in sunglasses and a grey hoodie.
When no one responded to her questioning on the train, she said “Nobody on the train responded, and I feel very… emotional right now.”
Brandy, you’ll learn sooner than later that New Yorkers have seen it all, done it all — especially on the train, in the midst of their commute. Look at me, talking like I’m not a New Yorker too.
