After giving the fans music video for “We Like To Party” Toronto artist Rashid St. James returns with his debut EP The Nightmare In The Afterhour which consists of 10 tracks and a single feature from an artist named Boko Maru. According to Rashid this project reflects his personal experience of being on the scene. According to him this is a lyrical documentation of the last 4 years of his life, partying and surviving in downtown Toronto whilst observing. Rashid’s heavy lyricism over Solid Mas & 4:44-produced instrmental puts him amongst the rising stars from Toronto. Take a listen to the project below and be on the lookout for him this year.
