I’ve always been a fan of hip-hop collectives, from Goodie Mob, to most recently, the now defunct Odd Future. It’s just something really ill about a group of artists that are as good individually as they are together.
I’ve been following Florida’s PayUp! Game, for a little while now and so far I’m hip to artists like André DeSaint and Mouf; now you can add Cherele to that list.
Not too far removed from dropping her debut album, Paradise Lost, Cherele reemerges with the edgy, aggressive sounding “Wine Drunk”. This joint is super high energy, so make sure you turn the volume up to 10.
