By now we are all aware of the ongoing feud involving Young Thug and Lil Wayne. The two have gone back and online, at concerts and have even had outsiders, like The Game, interfere in their beef.
Back in April, while in Atlanta, Lil Wayne’s tour buses were shot at while traveling along the freeway. Although many thought it was a random incident, we now know that Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, an associate of Young Thug, is the alleged shooter.
Winfrey, 25, is said to have shot at Lil Wayne’s bus as a way of earning stripes within the Bloods gang he is a part of. He has been charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and acts, criminal damage, possession of a firearm by a felon, criminal gang activity, reckless conduct and discharging a weapon near the street.
No one was hurt in the incident and it is not certain whether or not Lil Wayne was on either of the buses when they were fired at. Let’s hope this doesn’t escalate any further.
