Going as far back to when he was one half of a duo, with fellow Columbus emcee Philly P (where is he, anyway? He was nice), Nes Wordz has been making waves as one of the more lyrical artists out of Ohio and arguably the entire Midwest.
After putting out bangers here and there and signing to Exec Gang Music, Nes Wordz offers up his long-anticipated debut, Stupid Genius. The 19-track offering, which features production from Supanatra, Tha Audio Unit and more, is some of Nes’ best work to date. Joints to check for are “Hold Up”, “Living Life”, which is assisted by Dominique Larue and “Holy Ghost”, a song that has become a radio banger seemingly overnight.
Steam Stupid Genius, below and cop it here if you dig it.
