“Picket signs aint gon’ make change.” 19-year old duo OSHUN (comprised of Thandiwe and Niambi Sala) have recently dropped their latest album “ASASE YAA.” The project isn’t a hard sell at all: the lyrics from both MC’s are filled with smooth swinging vibes riddled in subjects about love, social commentary, and self confidence. The soulful collaborative project yields only two collaborations, featuring guest appearances from T’Nah Apex and Proda. Do yourself a favor and get hip to the NY-based duo’s music now and thank me later for putting you on. Judging by the beats alone, this is a play-all-the-way-through body of work.
