Being a producer in the hip hop industry is the sports equivalent to dragging a tractor tire the length of a football field. Not in the literal sense of course, but the two are very similar in certain ways. For instance, as a rising hip hop producer there are many ‘road blocks’ and ‘detours’ you have to maneuver around to get to your final destination. The art required to see the vision and execute is something that can’t be taught. It’s instinctual, much like a running back trying to avoid potential tacklers. You either have that ability or you don’t, simple as that. Producer June Jissle is executing and crafting to perfection. As a producer, you have the power to build your own style, image, and ultimately create songs from scratch. Jissle prefers to keep his production up-tempo and energetic. Today, he is gearing up to release a project called CHANEL BLENDZ, which is a Remix mixtape featuring rap stars such as Drake, Jay Z, Kanye, Pharrell, Nas and many more. The project will feature all different types of beats ranging from classic pop beats to trap rap beats and others. As we await the project to drop, check out this ‘Red Cup’ track he produced for T Pain, Kid Ink & B.o.B.
