Almost everyone who listens to J. Cole knows that the Roc Nation rapper graduated summa cum laude from St. John’s University, but not many may know that Cole didn’t receive until recently. Due to an unreturned library book and the subsequent fee that came with it Cole was not allowed to get his diploma. That all changed on Thursday (April 9th) when he returned to his alma mater to do a show. During his performance, some of his professors came on stage to give the “Apparently” artist that important piece of paper. According to Cole, he’ll be sending his diploma to his mother. Congratulations Cole!
