The official trailer for DOPE is finally here. You will see A$AP Rocky, Shameik Moore, and a few of the cast members pop up in this super-dope trailer.
Viewers will follow self-proclaimed 90s Hip-Hop geeks Malcolm (Shameik Moore), Diggy (Kiersey Clemons), and Jib (Tony Revolori) who get caught up in a drug deal (with A$AP Rocky’s character) and must figure out how to recoup the money and stay alive. This full-length trailer finally gets into the nitty gritty of the plot while also further illuminating the characters.
The amazing production team behind the film includes, Rick Famuyiwa as the director, Forest Whitaker as the producer, and Pharrell Williams and Sean Combs as the executive producers.
Dope hits theaters June 19th.
