Flying Lotus hosted his first residency at BBC Radio 1 today and played a two-hour segment full of new tracks and remixes. Some of the most exciting and memorable parts include a guest mix from Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood, a new Thundercat song, an alternate edit of his previously released track “Never Catch Me” featuring Kendrick Lamar, in addition to two new songs called “Post Requisite” and “Theme (Alternate Edit)” from FlyLo himself. And if that list didn’t just blow your mind, he also interviewed jazz music legend Herbie Hancock. Take a listen to the full segment here.
