For the last few years we have been hit with hip-hop tracks using the names of uber celebs of all walks of life, from “Michael Jordan”, to “Donald Trump”, even “Danny Glover”. Now we have the gloved one “Michael Jackson” to add to the long list of famous titled tracks. The young Avon Carter (whose name sounds kinda famous already), does a love letter to MJ while talking about how dope he is using all types of Mike references. It’s funny as the hook is the moonwalker’s name repeated in that staccato flow that’s all the rage on songs today.
The twist to this is, the song is getting viral love on social media with a dance challenge hashtag #michaeljacksonchallenge and radio play in NY on Power 105FM and Sirius/XM satellite. Click the link to listen, then try your best MJ moves for Instagram.
