Hip-Hop’s most prolific hippie Mod Sun releases “Howlin’ At The Moon,” a rap/alternative crossover record from his upcoming album “Look Up” set to drop 3/10/15. Having followed Mod Sun for quite some time now, it’s become evident to me labeling him a rapper doesn’t cover it, he’s a pure musician. (Really, like he actually plays instruments and stuff) Jokes aside, “Howlin’ At The Moon” gives us rapid lyricism with a party centric and free spirited hook, accompanied by the authentic texture of actual instrumentation. “HATM” dares you to live, and in life, isn’t that the point.
