It seems almost impossible to stay mad at Kanye West these days. Despite Ye’s knack for making headlines with his controversial comments, he has proven to not only be a pioneer in the music industry as a producer and rapper, but also widely respected in fashion.
Kanye sat down with show DJs Angela Yee, DJ Envy, and Charlamagne tha God for an hour-long interview on Power 105.1 FM’s The Breakfast Club and dropped some of the craziest quotes that he’s so infamous for.
From addressing his Grammys feud with Beck (and even admitting he never listened to Beck’s album before dissing it) to delving into his former relationship with Amber Rose, this interview is one of Kanye’s most revealing but calmest yet, especially compared to the interview he gave The Breakfast Club last year. When asked about his Yeezy Boosts being resold now for $1,500 or more, he criticized class separatism in the fashion industry, answering poetically, “You want to be upper class, you want to be first class, but when the plane crash, everybody dead.”
