A graphic designer based out of Maryland who goes by the name Abi is known for his unique vectors of sneakers and incorporation of classic cartoon characters in his work. Now, Abi shares his new talent by adding a new piece to his fascinating collection: a unique painting entitled, “His First Dream”.
When asked what the painting represented, Abi responded, “The character’s name is Thomas, and he is not old enough to know what a dream is yet, but he knows how to control it. This painting is the first stage of a graphic design piece that I created a year go, called ‘LSD P-ZA’, which features the young adult version of Thomas.” Abi described the process of creating baby Thomas with a big smile on his face, “I was shopping, and this wooden plank caught my eye. So I bought it, and spent the whole day painting him.”
Abi’s work can be seen in various showcases throughout DC, and Maryland. There are rumors that he is possibly working with designer Jeff Staple to have his art displayed in New York City. But, when we asked Abi if the rumor was true, he just smiled and said, “You’ll have to wait and see.”
