Last night Wale shut it down House of Blues Chicago as part of his SIMPLE Mobile: Simply Nothing Tour. During his performance of “Friendship Heights”–a track that speaks on a dreaded place called the friend zone–off of his mixtape Festivus, the MMG rapper brought out Chicago’s very own Chance The Rapper to spit his verse.
Chance didn’t leave the audience with just that though, he also gifted them with a performance of “Sunday Candy.” Not many in the audience seemed to know the track, but those anxiously awaiting Donnie Trumpet‘s Surf will appreciate it. Peep both performances below.
