Aside from a few MC’s really putting it down for the birthplace of hip hop, the Bronx has been relatively quiet. Dot Demo clearly plans on changing all of that soon. Teaming up with the director Vintage Modern and the clothing line Belief, Demo put together a filthy black-and-white music video for his new record “Grimey.”
Rarely do you ever hear a new-age MC tackle a beat the way Demo did on this record. The New York slang mixed with a rapid flow and fiery attitude blend excellently over the gloomy instrumental. The visual itself embodies the feel of the track, with Demo rapping aggressively into the lens amongst low lit settings and deserted streets. If you enjoy the visual below, make sure to download his highly-praised project Delta Theory right here. You’re welcome!
