YG released “2015 Flow” the day of his big GRAMMY snub. Today, the video was made available on Vevo. “2015 Flow” is off YG’s soundtrack for the short film “Blame it On The Streets.” The film was inspired by the music and lyrics from his critically-acclaimed debut album My Krazy Life, which describes in detail what life is like in South Central LA. The film explores how friendships are forged and young boys become men in a violent environment. The film and soundtrack are now available for purchase as well.
This video is different from YG’s regular style of videos but still has some twang to it. YG is seen wearing a red hat rapping the lyrics to the camera with a red checker backdrop in a dimmed out environment giving the video a flavourful boost. Watch the clip for DJ Mustard-produced track below.
