New York native, Zak Downtown, is back at again and this time around he is giving us a smooth track featuring Casey Veggies. The newest track, “Hiatus” is the first single from Zak’s upcoming debut album. The soon to be hit was produced by Cash Jordan and has a dope sound to it. Zak flows over the beat perfectly as he rhymes about putting his music first, making well-deserved money and never taking a break. Casey takes over the second verse and adds in a Cali vibe to the single.
Zak Downtown is definitely someone to look out for. His vibe is laid-back and his style is fresh. And though he reps NYC like many others, he is bringing something unique to the table. Listen to “Hiatus” below and let us know what you think!
