Just days after giving fans a scare by announcing and then retracting his retirement and subsequent relocation to Austrailia, Hopsin announced the completetion of his upcoming album, Pound Syndrome. He stated that he didn’t tell anyone he was working on a new album because he “didn’t want ANY pressure at all”. Which makes perfect sense in today’s instant gratification society.
