Some mash-ups are incredibly well done, some are awful, and some land in between and really just exist to get YouTube views. Then there are times where a mash-up comes across your desk that is so left field and odd that you know it has to be good. Amsterdom’s 8 Mile and Abbey lands in that category. We get that on this tape, as well as 15 other tracks that lace Marshall’s lyrics with the Beatle’s music. Some work better than others, but it’s a strange journey that deserves to be explored.
