Here we have today’s mix by the legendary DJ Daddy Rich of Def Jam trio 3rd Bass. This #DefJam30 mix is super special as it’s an original from the idea phase of this project back in 2009. DJ Daddy Rich was one of the first I thought that needed to be down with this mega music undertaking. Growing up, I thought DefJamRecords had the best DJs. Each group or solo act had a dope DJ, that could rip a show or the studio. Rich would always wreck his solo spots on the 3rd Base albums. His “Daddy Rich in Land of The 1210” track is still a personal favorite.
Listen below to his sharp cuts and tough lineup. Shout to the coolest dude ever @emceeserch for linking us.
In partnership with iHeartRadio. Check the previous five mixes featuring DJ Tony Touch, DJ Scratch, DJ Big Jeff, DJ Jay Cee and DJ Boogie Blind at www.defjam.com/30mixes/
