Last month, Musiq Soulchild became a trending topic on Twitter when he unleashed his rap alter ego, The Husel. The Neo-Soul artist describes The Husel as not a rapper but a “state of mind,” which further confused fans. To try to clarify and promote this new “state of mind,” Musiq paid a visit to the Breakfast Club, and it wasn’t a fun interview for Musiq. Charlamagne the God held nothing back, poking holes in Musiq‘s reasoning for creating The Husel. Needless to say, no one understands the purpose of The Husel. Good news is, Musiq is still singing and plans to drop an album in the near future. Check out the brutal interview below.
