Mac Miller has signed a $10 million dollars deal to Warner Bros. Throughout this past year, the MC had been focusing on independent work, he dropped Faces, a self-released tape, and worked on his independent label Remember Music. The MC recently told The Fader via email that:
Warner is the most independent thinking company I met with. It is a partnership and now I can focus on building my label Remember through music and let them handle everything I don’t like doing. Nothing will change in how I do things. […]They have Prince.
