Producer extraordinaire Jake One showcases his talent in his latest installment of his “Behind the Beat” series. For this episode, he breaks down how he created “3 Kings”; the collaboration track with Rick Ross, Dr. Dre and Jay Z. He talks about how he drew his inspiration for the track from Drake‘s “Lord Knows” produced by Just Blaze, and how the song came to life with the help of a karaoke machine and percussion courtesy of Black Milk. It’s pretty interesting to get into the mind of a producer to see how they bring our favorite tracks to life. Get into the mind of Jake One below.
