Today, rapper turned television writer, actor turned street wear designer Tyler, The Creator of Odd Future fame just released previews of his newest collection of his fashion line, Golf Wang on Instagram and golfwang.com.
The preliminary advertisements for the collection feature Tyler himself alongside other skater-esque dudes rocking the brightly-colored duds indigenous to the brands LA roots in front of a playful backdrop of periwinkle blue with confetti on the floor. This is not your typical winter-collection, but for Los Angelinos in a constant state of summer-time skate park hi jinx the collection makes perfect sense.
Neon-pastel hues, wide, bright striped shirts, color-blocked long-sleeved rugby pullovers, and GOLF snapbacks and beanies abound in the first-look images. Standouts in the collection include a “Flognaw motors” short-sleeved polo, a white t-shirt with Kool brand cigarettes on it, wide-leg workman’s overalls, and a fluorescent green puffy jacket with the brand’s signature cat logo on the left breast.
