Queens-based Moss Clothing recruited the children of three Hip-Hop legends the world lost too soon. As seen in the Sons of Greatness lookbook, you can see Young Dirty Bastard (son of Ol’ Dirty Bastard), TJ Mizell (son of Jam Master Jay) and Chris Rivers (son of Big Pun ) channel their fathers in a way that will make you do a double take.
Shot by the legendary street photographer Ricky Powell, the photos capture the gritty, golden era New York. Moss’ latest collection features vibrant colors and bold paisley and Aztec-influenced prints. Founder Shahed Serajuddin recently explained the concept of their latest lookbook on the blog:
Time and people come to pass, but their influence lives on. When the opportunity recently came about to pay tribute by pairing Ricky, street culture’s most iconic photographer, with the children of his subjects of years past. It was a deeply meaningful challenge that I knew I had to take on.
