Christian hip-hop artist, Lecrae, grabbed the number one spot this week on the Billboard 200 chart. It was a tight race between his album, Anomaly, and Jhene Aiko’s debut album, Souled Out. However, Anomaly managed to surpass its competition after moving 88,299 units. Souled Out sold an impressive 71,230 copies, but it still was not enough to top Maroon 5 for the #2 spot. This is an amazing feat for Lecrae, as he continues to push the envelope for Christian hip-hop and generates a bigger fanbase for the genre.
