If Young Thug hopping on two Travi$ Scott songs is not a dream come true, you need better dreams. We’ve heard the Thugger over all sorts of hyper, zany instrumentals, but Scott’s brand of wolloping, cinematic destruction offers a new light on the perma-spotlighted Atlanta upstart. Other guests fair well, and Travis’ own vocals do a good job of guiding us through this raucous LP. Other highlights, beside the two Young Thug joints (“Mamacita,” also excellently featuring Rich Homie Quan, and “Skyfall”) are the opening track and the Migos and Peewee Longway assisted “Sloppy Toppy.”
