Lil Wayne appeared on ESPN’s “Fist Take” earlier this morning. During the show, he announced that his next album, Tha Carter V, will drop on October 28th. He also took the time to reveal the album cover (above.) It features a baby covered in Lil Wayne’s recognizable tattoos much like the covers for Tha Carta III and Tha Carta IV.
In other Lil Wayne-news, the MC took the ice-bucket challenge in support of ALS/Lou Gehrig’s Disease fund. From Mark Zukerberg to Justin Timberlake, many decided to drop a bucket of ice over their head in support of the charity foundation.
Lil Wayne also made headlines along with Drake for bringing out 50cent to the stage in Connecticut to perform “In Da Club.” Check out snippets of their performance below.
