Things had pretty quiet from the Pac Div trio lately, until member Like released his instrumental album Zesty. Like is no stranger to wearing the production hat, having worked with the likes of Ab-Soul and Kendrick Lamar on their debut albums. Like has been taking time out to hone his craft and experiment with different styles and sounds–Zesty is uniquely crafted from the sound down to the track names, which are named after soaps. Like experiments with different genres, spanning from EDM to jazz to R&B to hip-hop on the 9-track album. It’s clear from this project that Like has definitely grown sonically and it will be interesting to see how his production will translate into the new Pac Div material that we hope will be coming soon. Get into it below.
