XXL is back with a roundtable discussion featuring the selected 2014 Freshmen. In the first installment, Kevin Gates, Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensa, Isaiah Rashad and August Alsina discuss what the feature means to them and their contribution to the culture. It’s interesting to note that Alsina is the first and only R&B singer to be featured on the cover, even though Isaiah Rashad points out that all the rappers at the table have hit a few notes here and there.
