Chicago rapper Nick Astro brings us to church on his latest track, “Lies.” The Odd Couple-produced track allows Nick, or Pastor LightSkinWithThatAfro as he calls himself on the cut, to delve into the many things people have been lied to about: “Whoever said that you can get on by doing rap that’s a lie / Whoever said you can get on by doing trap now that’s a lie,” he raps. The track is simple yet honest and fun. Nick is currently working on his LightSkinWithThatAfro EP that is set to drop sometime this summer. Get into it below.
