When Juna Cosmos spits, “Nigga, I don’t play. Coming with that heat, scorching niggas with the flames,” on his new single “BALC Baby,” he’s not bluffing. Following up “Da Vinci Prophet,” the Londoner takes hometown reppin’ to a new level, paying homage to his city and his collective BALC over his own menacing production. “To me, BALC is a gift/curse bestowed upon certain individuals allowing them to exceed their limitations and excel in creative fields,” he says of the group, comprised of artists like-minded to himself.
