Lupe Fiasco has just released his highly anticipated empowering single “Mission.” The single is targeted to those who may have cancer, have had it or have lost their lives fighting the battle. Lupe is currently the celebrity ambassador for the Stand Up To Cancer organization and this track will serve as the first collaboration between the two. The track is also the official single from Lupe’s album, Tetsuo & Youth which will hopefully see the light before year’s end. The Soundz and Duke Da Monsta production track features opening vocals from surviving cancer patients, including Charlie Wilson who was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2008. Lupe’s verbal wordplay never disappoints and it’s a great message. Listen to the track below.
