The legendary Madlib just dropped the instrumental from Freddie Gibbs‘s all-out assault on Jeezy from Piñata, so now hip stuggle rappers can diss each other on it as well. Pettiness aside, this twin beat is phenomenal. The first half might be the most menacing product ‘Lib has ever produced. Without Fred there you can really hear how animalistic and raucous those drums sound. The second half is classic Beat Konducta-era Madlib, giving a rising soulful energy. Repetitive nature aside, this stands on its own as a stellar piece of music.
