It’s For Us brings us all around the world to four major celebrations of the vibrancy of hip-hop culture. Come for the breakdancing footage, of which there is plenty, and plenty of it is amazing and well-soundtracked, but stay for the street art, the culture shock, and the heartfelt, multi-lingual interviews, where the true passion shines through for every aspect of what once only lived in a series of dance parties in the late ’70s Bronx. Observe, with awe, how far it’s all come. Directed by Miguel Teck Arteaga.
