The Minnesota indie darlings Slug and Ant, better known as Atmosphere, are back with a new studio album, Southsiders. The first single, “Bitter,” is vintage Slug, with a catchy hook and cautionary lyrics. The beat returns Atmosphere to their earlier roots, departing from many of the live instruments they’ve been using on their recent albums.
