“What would you give in exchange for your soul,” the looped soul sample questions over a mildly heavy guitar riff. The excess space within the murky instrumental provides both lyricists leeway to trade truths that have affected their lives, and provide one of the more exceptional and soulful collaborations we’ve heard this year. For now, it’s all a big teaser until Asaad drops his highly anticipated project, Flowers II, this Thursday.
