It’s looking like 2014 is going to be a breakout year for artists that produce rich soul/r&b tunes and Mara Hruby is one of the artists that is leading the way. Recently, Mara released a video for “Cry Me A River” in support of her Archaic Rapture EP that will be available March 18th. Her musical style, which can be described as a soulful infusion of jazz and r&b, is captivating and reminiscent of music of the 1940s. Listeners can expect Mara’s new EP to be a storyboard expressing pain, strength and vulnerability. Watch the video below and be sure to purchase “Cry Me A River” on iTunes.
