If you’re an artist, you should never expect to go to Vancouver without meeting its most noble resident, Nardwuar. For his latest interview, the human serviette interviews Diplo, head of Mad Decent and incumbent master of popular dance music. Subjecting Diplo to his typically eclectic and highly specific style of questioning, Nardwuar, gets Diplo to admit that super-mega hit “Paper Planes” got to skip out on a certain sample.
But Nardwuar isn’t the only one who gets some surprises. At the end of the interview, there’s some unexpected twerking and um, “editing.” Diplo truly is the master of switching up the familiar. Watch below.
