Richmond’s Chance Fischer is putting the finishing touches on his forthcoming WREATH album, and with that comes a record that didn’t make the final cut. Here’s how he tells it:
“No Left Feet” is my take on the history of dancing and what it meant to black culture and overall psyche. Furthermore, it addresses the absence of soul in rap and community. Frankly put – you never really see people dance at rap shows. The song stemmed from a conversation I had with my mom about the generational gap with dancing. It’s a fun record which finds me in rare form.
