Midway through the song, New York City rapper Taro admits, “I’m just here to rap my ass off.” It’s not a surprising confession, but it’s definitely an understatement. Variously (and furiously) discussing his own issues as well as those that plague society at large, especially youth, Taro gives it his all, spewing rhyme after rhyme after rhyme, only pausing for a cigarette. He’s clearly here to do more than rap, but as long as he’s rapping this proficiently we’ll take him at his word. Watch below.
