Boston’s premier goofball, Michael Christmas, delivered another playful, shadow-edged adventure today. We look through the same peephole lens used for the spectacular “Daily” and “Michael Cera,” both set to be on Christmas‘ upcoming Is This Art? alongside “Jackie Brown,” in this new clip, which juggles a more rap-forward song than either “Daily” or “Cera” with exceedingly kid friendly visuals. Christmas‘ flow tumbles over itself in relaxed but impressive fashion, and he lets off a bounty of quotables both goofy and plain witty. “Fendi Gucci and Prada, your products is fugaze / In honor of Baby rub my hands together when they pay me,” and “I take my oatmeal as serious as money / So you gon’ lose your life if you try to take it from me” stand out as the top highlights. Manu Manzo‘s gentle hook rounds the track out well, and shows that this blunted weirdo at the playground just may have radio potential on top of everything else.
