Hanging out the window of a limo, Sir Michael Rocks swings through with tales of hook-ups, ballin’, sneaking liquor into movies theaters and general debauchery. The song is driven by RENO‘s warped instrumental, which drunkenly swerves in and out of traffic without ever losing momentum. Though it remains fairly static ,the organ, which is the primary element of this instrumental, asserts its presence throughout, forcing Sir Michael Rocks to fight for our attention. In other words, he’s hanging out the window for a reason. Listen below. “Memo” is the first song from SMR‘s upcoming debut album, Banco.
