Busta Rhymes and Q-Tip are an unlikely pair, but they pull this song off with pure finesse. Technically Q-Tip is being featured, along with Kanye and Wayne, but his presence on the song isn’t quite captured by just saying he’s a feature. Q-Tip and Busta might as well be a duo on this track, maintaining each other’s flows as well as each other’s energy. It’s actually pretty interesting how they manage to maintain their own uniqueness despite their parallel deliveries; Busta is still an intimidating beast and Q-Tip is still a master of suavity.
The video visualizes their parallels, literally dividing the frames into adjacent quadrants. If “Thank You” is an accurate reflection of Busta and Q-Tip‘s upcoming joint mixtape, we should be in for a treat. Watch the video below.
